Most of our field investigators have prior law enforcement backgrounds. They average more than ten years investigative experience. These investigators have previous work experience in law enforcement investigations units. They have prepared criminal cases and testified in Municipal, Superior and Federal courts.

Since entering the private sector, they have investigated all aspects of workers’ compensation claims. They have prepared criminal cases that have been successfully prosecuted by District Attorneys throughout California.

Shortly after California enacted the new workers’ compensation fraud statutes, we were honored to be one of the first companies to have a successful prosecution. Since this time, more than 50 claims have been presented and prosecuted.

In 2006, it was estimated that on one single claim, one of our clients saved over $1,000,000 in potential benefits. Although it is difficult to track savings to our clients, we are confident that we save insurance companies millions of dollars each year.

As of July 2008, we currently have three criminal prosecutions underway. It is estimated that our clients will eventually recoup over $4,000,000 in fraudulently paid benefits on these claims alone.

All of our investigators are full-time employees. They are licensed by the State of California and carry a full-umbrella liability errors and omissions policy.

We utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including current video cameras, concealable cameras and suitable surveillance vehicles.

Our AOE/COE investigators average more than 20 years of investigative experience and have previous claims adjusting backgrounds.
